Turkish Mining Industry Hits Back at Opposition Party Over Cyanide Claims and Smuggling Allegations

Turkey's Mining Platform and Miners Association have rejected CHP opposition claims of low royalties, gold smuggling and unsafe cyanide use as factually wrong, defending a sector they say contributes $700 million annually to state revenues and operates under supervision by more than 30 public bodies.
