Uzbekistan is launching 12 critical metals investment projects worth $166 million in 2026 — including the country's first production of selenium, tellurium and rhenium — as part of a $4.2 billion programme targeting 120 projects by 2030 and a new Chirchik technopark as the sector's processing hub.
