EU and China Open Three-Month Trade Talks to Avert Trade War Over €360 Billion Import-Export Imbalance

The EU and China have agreed to three months of trade consultations covering rebalancing, rare earth export controls, intellectual property and WTO reform, after Chinese exports to the bloc outpaced imports by roughly €1 billion a day.
