Japan and Kazakhstan Launch EAGLE-4 Fast Reactor Safety Programme as Tokyo Advances Generation IV Nuclear Development Towards 2050

Japan's JAEA and Kazakhstan's National Nuclear Centre have launched the EAGLE-4 fast reactor safety programme, covering in-pile and out-of-pile experiments through to 2031 as Japan advances its Generation IV sodium-cooled fast reactor demonstration project targeting operation by 2050.
